Sales Team Lead (SaaS / Tech)

We are looking for a performance-driven Sales Lead to take ownership of our SaaS revenue engine. In this “Player-Coach” role, you will manage our sales operations, ensure strict adherence to SOPs, and work directly with the CEO to scale the business.

While the primary focus is management and strategy, you must be ready to step in, sell, and own the sales target if the team falls behind. You will currently lead one executive, with a confirmed headcount budget to grow the team in 2026.

Location: Puchong, Selangor

Salary Range: RM 5,000 – RM 6,000

Key Responsibilities:

Pipeline & Funnel Management:
Monitor daily lead flow and analyze the entire sales funnel. Identify “leaks” in conversion and implement immediate fixes.

SOP Enforcement:
Ensure the sales team strictly follows the set SOPs and achieves monthly KPIs.

Marketing Liaison:
Act as the bridge between sales and our marketing agency to provide feedback on lead quality and optimize ad campaigns.

Revenue Growth (New & Existing):
Drive strategies for new customer acquisition while focusing on the upsell funnel to increase Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).

Retention Strategy:
Analyze customer data to improve retention rates and reduce churn.

Reporting:
Analyze sales data using Excel and present weekly performance reports to the CEO.

Gap Closing:
Be prepared to step in and close deals personally to ensure the monthly team target is met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Sales (SaaS, Software, or B2B experience is a strong plus).
  • Proven track record of hitting personal targets and ready to take on leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, data analysis) and comfortable learning new software quickly.
  • Data-driven, disciplined with SOPs, and “hungry” for results.
  • 100% On-site.
